The Eid Festival by UMB is dedicated to giving back to the Muslim community and providing a family-friendly, Islamic space to celebrate both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. This not-for-profit event is always held on the official Eid day, regardless of the calendar date, and aims to create bigger and better community gatherings in a halal environment each year.

The event, Eid at the Park, has relocated to the well-known Rocklea Showgrounds after starting as a small community gathering in Svoboda Park, Kuraby, in 2010. It is organized by a group of dedicated volunteers working for the sake of Allah (swt).

The festival features multicultural food stalls, rides, children’s activities, animal exhibitions, fireworks, stage shows, and various forms of entertainment, making it one of the largest Eid festivals in Australia.
